Plate feeder is a kind of feeder, which can be divided into light, medium and heavy three types from the shape. Due to the use of metal plate or cast iron plate as the tank body, it can transport high temperature materials and block materials, and can withstand a certain impact force. Due to its long transportation distance, power consumption of building materials and other equipment, it is ideal for high temperature transportation. It can also be equipped with frequency converter according to the site requirements, which is convenient to adjust the conveying volume and match with the process.

Product features

1. Large conveying capacity. The maximum conveying capacity can reach 526 m3 / h and the maximum inclination angle can reach 60 degrees. High temperature resistant, it can transport materials below 600 ℃.  
2. The conveyor chain is composed of traction chain, bearing chain and hopper with forward lapping (or reverse lapping). The three parts can be loaded and unloaded freely.
3. There are rolling bearings in the roller of the load-bearing parts. The rolling friction replaces the sliding friction used in the past. The running resistance is reduced by 55-65%, and the power consumption of the conveyor is greatly reduced.  
4. The traction chain is separated from the bearing chain to simplify the structure, reduce the cost and facilitate the installation and maintenance.
5. Long service life, long pitch and sleeve roller chain are used for traction chain, and alloy steel material is used for all parts of chain; and heat treatment processing is adopted for wear resistance. The weight of the conveying part and materials is borne by the load-bearing parts; the chain no longer bears the weight, reducing wear and tear.  
6. The process layout is various, which can be horizontal and inclined, and can also be combined by multi-stage horizontal and inclined layout.

working principle

When the plate feeder is working, the motor of the transmission device is driven by the reducer and coupling to rotate the main drive shaft. The overlapping conveyor scale plates are fixed on the chains on both sides. Two driving sprockets drive the chains on both sides. The supporting wheels on the scale plate are guided by the guide rails on the frame, and the materials on the scale plate are transported to the unloading place through the chain drive.

Installation sequence

The plate feeder is usually used in the metallurgical industry. It is mainly responsible for the transportation of sharp and large materials in the continuous production process of raw material processing goods. In order to ensure the reliable operation of the plate feeder, not only the manufacturing quality and the assembly quality of various components should be guaranteed, but also its installation and commissioning work must be done.
The installation of plate feeder is divided into two steps. The first step is to assemble the parts in the manufacturer, and the second step is to transport the independent parts to the use site, and then install the whole machine. Specific operation according to the plate feeder installation drawings and instructions to operate.
According to the installation drawing of the plate feeder, the longitudinal center line of the equipment is determined, and it is taken as the installation benchmark of the whole conveyor. If the equipment associated with the conveyor has been installed in place, the relevant size of these adjacent equipment can be used as the main basis to determine the center line, so as to ensure the reliable operation of the conveying system.
Then the axial center position of the head axle is determined on the longitudinal center line of the plate feeder. After the measurement is completed section by section along the longitudinal center line, the center position of the tail wheel shaft is determined according to the total length of the plate feeder. In addition, the anchor position of the frame, the installation position of the track and the positioning center size of the driving device are also determined.
According to the requirements of the civil structure, the installation position of the frame must be determined according to the construction drawings. The track installation can be started only after the installation of the rack including the head frame, tailstock, intermediate bracket and driving device frame is completed. When the track of plate feeder is also installed in place according to the requirements, the whole installation process is basically completed.

The basic structure of plate feeder is composed of main transmission device, driving device, running device, frame and screw tightening device. The conveyor chain is the transmission device of the plate feeder. It must be carefully installed. Firstly, the chain segments are divided into several groups according to the length accuracy, and then flattened and straightened on the ground, and then reasonably matched and connected. It should be noted that the length of multi hanging conveyor chain used in the same plate feeder is as equal as possible.
Before the chain wheel of plate feeder is installed with chain wheel, it should be checked whether the engagement is too tight or too loose. If it is too tight or the disc can not be engaged, the chain can not be installed and used. When installing the chain of plate feeder, attention should be paid to the installation direction of some locking parts and the running direction of the chain, so as to avoid falling off during impact, jumping and collision.
In order to ensure the accuracy of installation, load-bearing components are installed on the conveyor chain accessories of plate feeder. Firstly, the load-bearing members are grouped according to a certain number. During installation, the first part of each group shall be installed first, and then the second part of each group shall be installed. The bearing members shall be installed firmly in turn, and the gap or overlap distance of each adjacent bearing member shall be adjusted.

Maintenance technology

Plate feeder is a kind of equipment commonly used in foundry industry. It is mainly used for conveying casting, coke, ore and other materials. It is mainly composed of driving device, driving sprocket and plate face, frame, belt plate, tensioning sprocket, etc. According to the arrangement of equipment maintenance workload, maintenance personnel should be able to skillfully use electric and gas welding tools, and have good operation skills. The maintenance of plate feeder is bound to involve the removal of equipment, which should be carried out in the correct order.
1. Replace part of the scale plate and related parts, replace the tension chain wheel assembly, re manufacture and replace the bracket and frame of the tension chain wheel, replace all rails and frames, and replace the reducer and coupling.
2. According to the arrangement of equipment repair workload, 5 fitters are required for this repair work, including 2 personnel who are skilled in using electric and gas welding tools, with excellent operation technology and holding special operation certificate, 1 electrician and 1 crane worker.
3. For the removal of the equipment, cut off the power supply according to the following sequence, hang up the police signs, dismantle the motor, reducer, loosen the tension, dismantle the scale plate, transmission device, tensioning device, track, frame, etc., and place the dismantled parts in the designated site. During the equipment disassembly process, the safety operation procedures shall be strictly followed.
