Product introduction

Spiral screen series products are used for screening and grading of dry and wet coal. It not only shows high efficiency in screening dry materials, but also has no blocking phenomenon when screening wet materials, especially fine-grained wet sticky materials. It has high screening rate and is a new equipment for classifying wet, sticky and fine coal in China.

working principle

The screen surface of the spiral screen is composed of a group of spiral shafts arranged in parallel. The screw shaft is divided into two types: right-hand thread and left-hand thread. They each account for half of the screen surface. When the equipment is started, the screw shaft rotates, and the material entering the screen surface is pushed forward by the screw thread on the screw rod, and the product under the screen is obtained through the screen hole designed between the screw thread or groove and the screw thread or groove on the adjacent screw.
The rotating speed of the screw shaft is high, and the moving speed of the material on the screen surface reaches 0.5-1 M / s, so the processing capacity of the machine is large. At the same time, when the block material slides against the screw surface, the wet sticky powder adhering to the screw surface can be cleaned away. Therefore, no matter how much water content of the material, after screening, the screen surface is always clean, and there will be no blocking phenomenon. In addition, when screening materials, the materials are always in different radial positions of the screw shaft. When the spiral shaft rotates, the linear speed of the materials is different, so the materials are loose and sieved. In addition, there is a drop when the materials enter the second section after screening through a section of sieve. The materials are fully loose by rolling and rolling, which makes them get full screening opportunities High screening efficiency. This working principle is essentially different from the vibration screening equipment which has dominated the field of screening for decades. The latter relies on the vibrating screen surface to throw up the materials and pass through the sieve layer by layer. However, when wet materials are encountered, the powder close to the screen surface is easy to form a cake interlayer and block the screen hole, which makes it very difficult to penetrate the screen. In particular, 8, 10, 13 mm small size sieve hole, screen blocking is more serious, it is impossible to achieve screening and classification. In addition, the power of material sliding forward is also generated by the sliding force of the gravity of the material after the screen surface is tipped. Moving forward is very passive and slow, and the efficiency is low. This kind of equipment belongs to passive screening. The former relies on the rotation of the screw to force the material to move forward, and the screen hole is dynamic and flat Therefore, it has high efficiency and belongs to active screening. In addition, because the two adjacent screws forming the screen hole have opposite linear velocity direction in the projection direction of the screen hole, the material will roll under the action of a pair of couple instead of the extrusion force, so there will be no new coal crushing.

The spiral screen is composed of two, three or more sections with the same structure. Each section of the unit is arranged in a ladder shape, and the middle is connected by a transition plate. The unit is composed of a frame, a transmission box, a motor and a screw shaft. The screen surface is composed of a row of screw shafts with right-hand (left-handed) large lead thread arranged according to the requirements. The screen surface is firm and durable, and the feed rate is large. The front end of the frame is connected with the rear end of the screw box to drive the power shaft through the driving shaft of the screw box. In addition, in order to prevent the sieve from overload, the mechanical and electrical parts are equipped with safety protection devices. If more than three levels of units with different specifications are combined, a variety of screening products with different specifications can be obtained, so as to simplify the screening process.

Product maintenance

1. Iron remover must be installed
     1.1. As the screw of the screen surface is rotating, the iron tools such as gun line, iron wire, spike and waste bolt in the material are easy to be wound and stuck, which has a great impact on the transmission box. After the bearing bears the impact force, the roller is easy to deform and damage, causing unnecessary fault to the equipment. Therefore, users must install the iron remover with corresponding power before the screen when designing on site Clean the sieve and ensure the normal operation of the sieve.
1.2. The iron remover should be installed on the coal falling point of the conveyor belt before the screen, so that the iron under the coal seam can also be sucked out.

2. Design of feeding trough and discharging trough
2.1 feed tank
2.1.1 for the newly designed production line and the units with conditions on site, the best coal feeding for the sieve is to use a coal feeder. The coal feeder should be installed at a height of 500mm from the screen surface of the spiral screen height group. The principle of making full use of the screen surface in the longitudinal direction should be consistent with the coal feeding direction of the spiral shaft. This kind of coal feeding basically eliminates the harmful impact of feed coal flow on the screen surface, which is very beneficial to reduce the screen surface wear and prolong the service life of the spiral screen.
2.1.2 due to the limitation of site space, the coal feeder cannot be installed. The user should design the feeding trough according to the actual situation of his own site. The part before entering the screen should be designed as shown in Figure 2. (Note: during installation, the direction of coal flow should be consistent with that of screw shaft, and it is better to fall on the buffer plate of the equipment.

2.1.3. Position relationship between feed tank and screen machine
The feeding trough should be installed in the center of the high group screen machine, and the distance between the discharge port and the screen surface should be 300 mm based on the principle of making full use of the screen surface. The feed chute shall be bolted to the front channel. Considering the maintenance problem, the welding should not be dead.
2.2 discharge chute
For the standard model with the same size of screen hole, under screen chute, a large chute can be designed under the whole screen, of course, if the site conditions do not allow, the design can be done separately. The chute under the screen should be designed according to the different screen holes of the unit.
