It is widely used in power station, mine, coal and other industries to transport various kinds of loose materials. The chain bucket conveyor is also known as trough conveyor. The chain bucket conveyor is suitable for all kinds of powder and block bulk materials, and is suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying (suggestion: inclination angle ≤ 60 °), especially suitable for conveying solid materials with high temperature, large capacity, large block head, sharp edges and strong grindability. 1. The process layout is flexible. It can be arranged on the ground or in the pit. It can be installed in an inclined or horizontal way. At the same time, the whole machine can be installed horizontally and obliquely.
2. It adopts driving mechanism, which occupies a small area, and is easy to operate and install.
3. The traction chain is plate chain with high strength and long service life.
4. Spring coil tension device is adopted at the tail of the machine, which can automatically adjust the tension of the traction chain.
5. The energy consumption of conveying is low. The walking wheel in the bearing chain uses rolling friction instead of sliding friction to reduce the motion resistance and reduce the traction and power consumption of the conveyor. By separating the traction chain from the bearing, the structure is simplified, the cost is reduced, and the service life is long, and the parts are not easy to wear.

Lubrication method of chain
 
First of all, the simplest lubrication method is nothing more than that the operators regularly brush the chain with oil pots and brushes. This method is simple and convenient, but it is easy to get hands dirty.
In the second method, the oil cup can be used to drop oil into the internal and external clearance of the chain through the oil pipe, which is also a relatively simple and easy to use lubrication method.
The third way is to use a sealed transmission box. First, part of the chain and sprocket are immersed in the oil, and then the larger diameter oil slinger splashes oil. This method is easy to cause oil droplets around, and it is not recommended to use.
The fourth is to use the oil pump to continuously supply oil to the chain through the oil pipe. The circulating oil can also play a cooling role and the lubrication effect is obvious. Because the kinematic viscosity of the lubricating oil is 40 mm / s at the operating temperature, and the speed is relatively fast. Only when the speed is slow and the oil supply is not available, the lubrication of the chain is replaced by grease.

working principle

The chain bucket conveyor drives the chain wheel in the head device by the transmission device, and draws the conveying bucket with materials running along the track, and the materials are discharged from the head cover, so as to achieve the purpose of conveying materials. In the process of use, the material to be transported is introduced from the feed port and stored in the hopper. The chain drives the hopper for conveying. When it reaches the head wheel, the direction is changed and the material is discharged from the outlet. In the whole process of material transportation, due to the slow conveying speed, there is no relative dislocation between clinker and hopper, so the wear is less and the operation fault is less. Moreover, it can be transported from the bottom of cooler to the top of clinker silo, and almost no dust is produced.

Installation and commissioning
 
The correct installation, debugging and operation, normal maintenance are to ensure the good use of chain bucket conveyor, is the necessary means to improve the service life.
1、 Preparation and inspection before installation
1. If the assembly parts arrive at the site, it is necessary to check whether there is corrosion and damage before installation. If so, it should be repaired, cleaned and lubricated before installation.
2. The quality of chain and other key components must meet the requirements of corresponding drawings.
3. Check whether the assembly of the chain meets the requirements.
4. Check whether the roller group can operate flexibly, and the installation position of each part and the quality of the wheel body must be consistent with the drawing requirements.
5. Carefully check and check the position measurement at the installation site, and the foundation dimensions of each device and frame must be consistent with the dimensions marked in the drawings. If any problem is found, it should be dealt with in time. After all dimensions are correct, all parts can be placed.
2、 Commissioning
After installation, the running in time shall be at least 4 h. Check the working condition of all running parts. The temperature rise of bearing and reducer should not exceed 30 ℃. The load test run time shall be at least 4h, and the temperature rise of bearing and reducer shall not exceed 40 ℃. If the chain bucket conveyor meets the test run requirements, the machine can work normally; if it does not meet the test run requirements, we must check the problems and stop the machine for rectification.

Common faults

1. The chain bucket conveyor is deviated and even derailed due to various reasons.
Once the chain is seriously worn, it will cause serious deformation.
3. If the equipment is in overload operation for a long time, the reducer and motor may be damaged frequently, which will only increase the production cost.
4. If the chain bucket and roller of the chain bucket conveyor are worn, the roller may not rotate or the chain bucket will fall off, which will affect the conveying output of the equipment.
5. After the equipment is finished, the equipment should be cleaned in time, especially the health of the base, which can effectively avoid the collision of chain bucket when conveying materials.
6. The sealing effect of chain bucket conveyor is not good, and it will have an impact on the surrounding environmental sanitation when meeting the materials with large dust.

Improvement of common faults
 
1. Due to the unreasonable design of the hardness matching between the gear tooth and the shaft sleeve, the contact surface between the shaft sleeve and the gear tooth is very small and the friction force is large, which makes the wear of the gear tooth and shaft sleeve faster. Therefore, we can improve the wear tolerance of the sprocket and the surface of the sprocket, so that we can improve the accuracy of the sprocket with the tooth surface.
2. Due to the manufacturing and installation errors, coupled with the alternating impact load generated by the meshing of gear teeth and shaft sleeve, the connecting bolts are subject to both tension and transverse shear force, resulting in the teeth loosening soon after being installed, and finally the connecting bolts are cut off, causing the teeth to fall off. The improvement method is that the square and circular structure can be adopted to prevent the relative rotation between the short shaft and the outer chain plate, and to reduce the mutual wear between the roller and the tooth.
3. The chain bucket conveyor sometimes conveys some materials with high temperature and large dust, which makes it difficult to lubricate the bearing. If there is no lubricating oil, the roller bearing will often be damaged and stuck. The roller shaft sleeve and the roller shaft rotate relative to each other, and the roller shaft will wear off quickly. Therefore, it is necessary to add lubricating oil to both sides of the roller regularly to avoid replacing the roller shaft all the time.
Once the short end of the nut is not connected to the outer end of the nut, the lower end of the nut will be more resistant to the external friction. So it must be rationalized in the design.
5. The reducer of chain bucket conveyor is a hard tooth surface reducer manufactured by introducing German technology. If the motor current fluctuates greatly during the operation of the equipment, once the rated current is exceeded, the load of the chain bucket conveyor will change greatly and there will be impact load, which will easily cause the high-speed shaft of the reducer to fracture. Therefore, proper oiling on both sides of the roller can reduce the running current, reduce the impact of dynamic load on the reducer, and avoid the accident of shaft breakage.

Safety measures

When the chain bucket conveyor completes the work, the equipment needs to be recycled and maintained for better use next time. In this recovery and maintenance work, operators are required to master some safety technical measures of the equipment, so as to ensure the integrity of the equipment and the safety of the staff. The safety measures are as follows:
1. As equipment operators, they must be trained professionally, work with certificates, and start or stop according to the signal. No matter what state the equipment is in, no one is allowed to stay in the attachment of chain bucket conveyor to avoid personal injury.
2. For the work after the completion of the equipment, the recycling personnel must be familiar with the structure, performance and working principle of the equipment. It is not allowed to dismantle the parts at will. It is better to have a team leader on behalf of the team leader to inspect and supervise the whole process and conduct unified command to ensure the safety of the equipment.
3. During the dismantling and recycling period, special personnel shall be responsible for the storage and management of all components and spare parts, so as to avoid loss and affect the next use. It is important to lubricate the transmission parts such as bearings, and then store them to prevent rust for a long time.
4. After the equipment is disassembled and disassembled, the surrounding environment of the work should be completely removed to achieve dust-free workshop production.
