1. Installation problems
Because the two ends of the vibration motor are equipped with heavy eccentric blocks, if they are installed vertically or obliquely, the axial direction of the bearing should bear the gravity of the eccentric block. If there is no special device in the vibrating motor of the vibrating screen, the bearing will be adversely affected and the service life will be shortened.
Preventive measures: ① choose vertical vibration motor; ② avoid vertical or inclined installation as far as possible.

2. Ambient temperature
The temperature of materials transported by the equipment should not be too high. Because the vibration motor is rigidly connected with the equipment, it can also be said to be a whole. If the temperature of the materials transported by the equipment is too high, it is easy to cause the temperature increase between the ground and the shell of the vibration motor, which will cause the heat dissipation difficulty and burn the motor.
Preventive measures: ① keep the vibration motor away from high temperature materials as far as possible without affecting the operation of the equipment; ② try to reduce the temperature of materials.

3. Looseness of foundation bolt
      This is one of the main faults that cause the vibration motor to burn out. Due to the particularity of the vibration motor structure, the exciting force generated by the eccentric blocks at both ends of the vibration motor will impact the anchor bolt 2000 times per minute. Because of the vibration of the vibration motor itself, the foundation bolt is very easy to loose. Once a bolt is loose, it will cause other bolts to loosen in a short time, even It breaks and burns the motor.
Preventive measures: ① reinforce the foundation bolts regularly; ② add anti loosing device; ③ keep the good contact between the foot surface and the motor floor, so that several anchor bolts are evenly stressed.

4. Heat dissipation
Preventive measures: ① remove the dust on the surface of the vibrating motor of the vibrating screen frequently to make it work under good conditions; ② In the design process, the surface of vibration motor should be as smooth as possible, so that dust is not easy to accumulate. If working in the environment with large dust, it should be considered to subtract the cooling ribs on the shell surface, because at this time, the cooling ribs can not play the role of heat dissipation, but easily cause dust accumulation and hinder the heat dissipation of the electric machine.

5. Sealing problem of protective cover
Because the working environment of vibration motor is very bad and dust is large, if the protective cover is not sealed tightly, it is easy to enter dust, causing friction operation of eccentric block, thus burning the motor. Therefore, in the harsh working environment, one should increase the sealing of the protective cover, and the second is to clean the dust inside the protective cover frequently.

6. Adjustment of eccentric block
When adjusting the eccentric block, the direction of the eccentric block at both ends is wrongly adjusted, which makes the vibration motor produce a space torque, which makes the vibration motor work in abnormal state, and then causes the burnout. Therefore, when adjusting the eccentric block, we must pay attention to its symmetry, that is, the eccentric blocks at both ends should correspond to each other, or the connecting line of the center of gravity of the eccentric blocks at both ends should be parallel to the rotating shaft, and should not be in the state of different planes.
